🌿HOW TO PROPAGATE FICUS BURGUNDY | Share + Save🌿 Chopping a plant like this can be scary but I’ve had success so I wasn’t too worried. I wanted a more full pot of ficus so I decided to chop ✂️ Propagating ficus isn’t really any different than propagating other plants! I chop between two nodes, and I immediately place the cutting in water, making sure that the bottom most node is submerged in the water. I let the white sap go into the water— I haven’t noticed it make a difference in propagation success. It took about 1 week for me to start seeing roots and it took about 1 month before the cutting was ready to be potted in soil. I was also so excited to see new growth emerge on the mother plant from where I had made the cut! Have you ever propagated a ficus plant before? Also, let me know if you would like to see what the plant looks like now that I’ve potted the cutting back into the main plant! . . . . indoor jungle houseplants easy plants plant tips plant hacks plant care plant help plant styling propagation plant room #plantcare #plantcaretips #ficusburgundy #propagation #ficus #waterpropagation
