Get the best quality video from your iPhone -> This is why you should shoot on LOG and how to color grade it 📲 - In your settings, go to camera, formats, Apple ProRes and select LOG. *This feature is only available on the 15 pro and pro max* - When you take a video normally, your phone adds its own processing, coloring and sharpening; resulting in a compressed file with less detail that your camera is capable of. LOG removes all of these and gives you a blank canvas. - The resulting video will look flat and desaturated so we have to edit it - my software of choice is Davinci Resolve but you can do this on Premiere, Final Cut, etc - In Davinci Resolve, go to your color tab and create 3 nodes, one for basic adjustments, one for LOG conversion and one for your LUT/grade. - Filming and editing this way will give you much more flexibility with the color grade and tones you can achieve vs an already processed standard video file.
