Every level in our game is built out of hundreds, or even thousands of hand drawn 2D elements, stacked in 3D space. We’ve been itching to make an in-depth reveal of our creative process to develop the unique visual style of our game. We haven’t had the time to do that yet, but we thought it’d be cool to do a mini reveal of how our levels are put together. There’s so much more detail we can dig into, like how we illustrate the art in the game, how we create the paths that tunnels follow, how we colour the environements and light them. Then theres all the other art stuff, like creating our shroomy enemies, the cards that the game revolves around, and the UI elements that help players play the game. Would you like to know more?
