#ad Creating a Retro preset in Lightroom for Mobile @Lightroom #MadeWithLightroom #ad Presets have been critical in helping me learn to edit. Not only was I able to see how other people were editing their images, but I could also learn what types of editing techniques worked on which photos. There has never been a preset for all photos but creating a preset for a set of photos and getting a consistent look is a rewarding feeling. It easily can help in creating a unique body of work in a similar style. When I look back on presets I created, I can see growth in my editing. There are new techniques I like to use for more dialed in presets, or techniques I stopped using to make more applicable presets. At the end of the day, presets have been very helpful in creating a sufficient base to edit my images off of. If I am lucky, I only need one click to edit a photo. At its worst, I’m usually only a few minor tweaks from getting an image I am happy with.
