💜Today is Rare Disease Day!💜 1 in 17 people will be diagnosed with a rare condition in their lifetime, but too often, rare means overlooked. I'm sharing the stories of the youth ambassador's today to raise awareness of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1)—a condition that affects them and so many others. Living with NF1 comes with challenges, from medical appointments to learning how to navigate school, work, and everyday life. But raising awareness can make a difference.
