What an incredible view of the red planet.. NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its onboard Right Navigation Camera (Navcam). The camera is located high on the rover's mast and aids in driving. These images were acquired on Jan. 3, 2024 (Sol 1021) at the local mean solar time of 13:09:46. The raw images taken by Perseverance were combined to create this panorama by Neville Thompson.
